Birds

It is not only fine feathers that make fine birds. I have seen male sparrows teaching their young to find seeds and how to shell and eat them. I have seen a flock of crows protecting a young crow that was unable to fly from a dog, or a flock chase and harrow a hawk until they released a young crow stolen from a nest. It is not strange that we are fascinated by birds as they are about the only animals that we see that are not tamed, caged stay hidden.
