The number of days without rain in the area, 181, was ended last night. There was a nice rain, no flooding, no wind or damage. They explained that this was sixth longest period without rain. I will be a big help in keeping the wild fires at minimum. Carl and Jyoti commented on the fires north of San Francisco and Carl reported rain in that area This year should be for low fire danger, making up for some of the past high years.
