The Center For Healthy Aging held a public forum describing The Independent Transportation Network ITNAmerica. It is a transportation system for people over 65. The best way that I can describe it is that it Is a system that fits between taxis, small public van or public wheelchair van transportation. It is not designated to replace existing transportation programs. It is considered an “arm-through-arm” and “door-through-door” service as opposed to just “curb-to-curb“. It is not funded by public money, run by a nonprofit organization, quite innovative. Somewhere in the future if could fill a need for me.
